SkySaver offers three cable lengths: 80 ft (up to floor 7), 160 ft (up to floor 15), and 260 ft (up to floor 25). If your floor is above 25, contact the SkySaver team for a custom solution.

Yes. The Attachable Baby Harness (for infants) and Attachable Child Harness (ages 2-10) clip to the front of your adult backpack. Your child is secured to you during the entire descent and you can communicate with them throughout.

SkySaver lowers you at a steady 3-5 feet per second (1-1.6 m/s) depending on your weight. This is a smooth, controlled descent, not a freefall. Most users describe it as calm and manageable even under stress.

The system is certified for a minimum of 50 kg (110 lbs) and a maximum of 135 kg (298 lbs) in the US. In Europe, the certified maximum is 120 kg (264 lbs). If you are outside this range, contact SkySaver directly.

Yes, you need an anchor point at your planned exit (window or balcony). Each SkySaver kit comes with anchor hardware. For US and Canada customers, SkySaver offers professional installation for $99 (2 anchor points). Outside the US/Canada, installation must be done by a certified local professional.

Yes, but after each use the CDD must be rewound and recertified at a SkySaver service center. Contact SkySaver for details on the recertification process.

The Parent Package ($2,223-$2,654) is the complete bundle: adult backpack + CDD + your choice of baby, child, or pet attachment harness. The Parent Edition ($2,123-$2,496) is the adult backpack + CDD only.
