SII TESTING | SKYSAVER RESCUE BACKPACKS

Inside the SkySaver backpack is a controlled descent device (CDD) which underwent rigorous testing under many conditions. These tests were done in conjunction with the Standards Institute of Israel at their facility. In order to ensure that the SkySaver device is safe to use in all conditions, the CDD was tested after being subject to flames, an oven, freezing temperatures, oil, and dust. After each test, the device worked perfectly and still lowered the weights at a safe descent speed of about 3-6 feet (1-2 meters) per second. Check out a summary of the testing in the video below. In the coming weeks we will be revealing more of the testing we have done at SkySaver including tests done with volunteers who tried on the backpack for the first time. SkySaver backpack is a controlled descent device (CDD) which underwent rigorous testing under many conditions. These tests were the CDD being exposed to intense flames, the CDD in an oven, and the CDD exposed to -35C.
